Fresh off the Easel

I enjoyed creating this painting inspired by Claude Monet's Sunflowers 1881 painting. 

This is an original hand painted piece I created inspired by his work of art.

I was not making an effort to try to achieve the same end result as his work, but instead to be inspired by his composition and go where that took me in the creative process.

I love the vibrant colors and the contrast between the background wall colors and the rest of the piece.
